When we have puppies, our goal is to whelp and raise a healthy, balanced (temperament and conformation) Flat-Coated Retriever puppy who is as good or better than his sire or dam. Our goal is to place that puppy in a lasting home where it will receive love and care throughout it’s life. All our puppies are companions first, show and performance dogs second.

Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home. They are handled daily and exposed to family living. We have enrichment and socialization activities for the puppies to ensure they are well rounded and ready for placement in their new homes. The puppies are individually evaluated with a puppy aptitude test at seven weeks of age as well as assessed by several independent individuals for breed conformation. We select the puppy for approved homes based on the lifestyle and activities of each potential home. The puppies are wormed, vet checked, microchipped and have current shots before leaving at nine to ten weeks of age. We will hold onto the puppies until the most suitable placement is found.

We offer a health guarantee and we register each puppy with the AKC. We will take the puppy or dog back at any age no questions asked. We are a resource to our puppy families throughout the life of the dog for questions on health, behavior, etc. and as such stay in touch by reaching out via email for updates annually, more frequently within the first year or so.
